What are your chances of getting additional credit while still in debt consolidation?

I would think not. Thats what got you into trouble in the first place.

Its my understanding that when you get in to a debt management program, you are to close out your exisitng credit cards and not get new credit cards until you are done with the program. Don’t know if that means you can’t get a mortgage or another secured debt.
